A Little About Us
Little Bats is all about embracing the power of the outdoors to nurture, inspire and develop local children. Getting kids out of the confines of the traditional nursery and classroom settings; we empower and encourage children to explore, investigate, experiment and assess risk at their own pace.
The natural environment gives young people an opportunity to flourish as individuals… To escape the confines of pressured learning environments, testing and academic led activities to capture their imagination, build independent thinking and raise their self esteem. As a team, we are all passionate about living and breathing the ethos of Forest School in everything we do…

"My two children really enjoyed the forest school. They enjoyed den building and making journey sticks the most. They came back talking abut things they had learned every evening. The team are lovely and the kids really enjoyed spending time and talking to them."

Our amazing volunteers...
We are so proud of our volunteer team here at Little Bats. As a CIC, our Forest School doesn’t run for profit, but for creating impact in our local community. Volunteers play a huge role in our operation and without them we couldn’t provide the opportunities for the babies, children and young people that we help today.
Nature is a tool to get children to experience not just the wider world, but themselves...
