Stay and Play Sessions
Our forest school stay and play sessions are designed for parents with toddlers (aged 1-5) to come and allow their child to discover, explore, experiment and develop independence in a safe and welcoming environment. Led by an expert Forest School leader with a trained volunteer team you can relax and use this as a perfect bonding opportunity with your little one.
Enrichment Opportunities
Let your toddler explore through play; allowing them to get an understanding of the world around them and the power of discovery and experimentation.
Outdoor Adventures
Whether it is exploring how soil mixed with water makes mud pies, or simply listening to the sound of nature, the power of the outdoors will unleash your child's imagination.
Bonding Time
Escape the stresses of everyday life, unplug from the digital world and take time to connect with your child in a non-pressured environment that has inclusivity at its heart.

If your child does not receive free school meals we do still have some places so please enquire and we can check the availability!
Building Community
Our forest school type activities offer a brilliant opportunity for your children to become part of a community where joint exploration and fun are the top of the agenda.
Outdoor Adventures
From den building, to creating a caterpillar trail, swinging in the hammocks to climbing trees - the opportunities for outdoor adventures without the confines of modern pressures are endless...
Imagination & Ideas
Forest School provides a brilliant opportunity for your child to explore measured risk taking, problem solving and idea generation in an environment where imagination is praised more than attainment.
A fully inclusive Forest School...
We actively encourage children of all abilities, from all backgrounds, cultures and family dynamics to participate here at Little Bats. We believe that everyone has the fundamental right to enjoy the great outdoors, to discover and learn through play and embrace the wonder of nature. This of course includes children with SEND. We are a truly inclusive provision and wholeheartedly welcome everyone who wants to participate into our community.

Nature, nurture & natter sessions
The first 1000 days of a child’s life are considered the most important for their development, and we think they are pretty crucial for you as a parent too – and that is why our perinatal programme in the fresh air is vital for the families we serve. Providing a chance to be out in nature, bond with your child and natter with like minded parents who know exactly what you are going through, you will find yourself flourishing after childbirth with these sessions.
Nurturing A Bond
Being able to disconnect from digital and other modern world pressures, you'll have the chance to bond with your baby in a natural setting.
Sensory Development
Our specialist resources and trained team will be able to support you with encouraging the sensory development of your baby through nature inspired activities.
Natter Away
Parenting a baby can be a lonely task, and when you are managing other life challenges too it can be even more isolating. We offer a safe and inclusive environment for you to meet other parents and have time to chat about whatever is on your mind!
